Attendance and Global Reach

• This year, we are anticipating attracting more than 20,000 attendees from more than 60 countries. Last year's Convention attracted 19,479 attendees from 60 countries.
• We anticipate having more than 315 government officials and heads of state, including 12 governors and two Canadian premiers in attendance at the 2007 BIO International Convention.

BIO Exhibition Statistics

• Attendees will have the opportunity to explore more than 200,000 net square feet of exhibit space featuring more than 1,900 companies.
• The BIO Exhibition will include 60 country, state and regional pavilions from 43 states and 36 nations.
• Product focus zones include Emerging Technologies, Clinical Trials, Devices and Diagnostics, Industrial and Environmental, Bio Process, Products and Services, and Therapeutics.

International Focus

• The Convention will attract more than 6,200 international attendees representing 60 countries including more than 26 official delegations.
• The international audience comprises approximately 30% of the total attendance.
• We have confirmed participation from 70 Public Officials from 11 countries, regions, and international organizations, including Argentina, Australia, Canada, Denmark, European Union Joint Delegation (European Commission, European Patent Office, European Medicines Evaluation Agency), Germany, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, and the United Nations.
• Among attendees will be the former Irish Prime Minister and the European Union Ambassador to the United States, as well as the Deputy Prime Minister from Malaysia.

BIO Business Forum

• We expect the Business Forum to attract more than 4,200 attendees from 1,500 companies giving 300 presentations and more than 11,000 one-on-one meetings.

Conference Program

• Our conference program includes four full days with more than 200 breakout sessions covering 20 educational tracks.
